Our editors of students’ essays and theses are TAs (University Teaching Assistants) or lecturers who have taught university courses. Even those of us who are professors or PhDs need – and, in fact, require – proofreaders and editors when we publish books and articles.
Our editors have a plethora of experience in proofreading and editing college essays, so that they meet and exceed the academic standards. Many universities offer appointments at the Writing Centers, but – as educators in academia – we are aware that these appointments are sometimes difficult to schedule, especially during midterms and finals. We also know that you can never be certain of the quality and the amount of work that would be completed with the Writing Center consultant. This is why we offer to polish your essay in complete confidence. As we hold academic integrity in high esteem, we urge you to look carefully at all the changes made in your essay or thesis. A careful look at the edits can help you learn more about good writing practices than if you edit the essay by yourself!

PERSONAL STATEMENT
The personal statement that you send as a part of your application to a school or college is one of the most important texts that you will write in your life. A strong personal statement can sway an admission committee to an applicant’s favor because they are not interested only in the students who can perform rigorous academic work – they are also interested in applicants who can bring something unique and interesting to their college and university. A personal statement needs to be short, strong, and representative of your voice.
We can edit and polish your statement and return it by e-mail, or you can choose to contact and work with us on writing an authentic and strong personal statement over a period of time.
